Young capitalists tallied up their earnings in fifth grade math today. We've been studying the stock market, and thanks to a strong market, most students are in black. I had them sell all their stocks from the Dow Jones top 30 today, and tomorrow we will invest in smaller stocks closer to our own lives. We will also talk about how to invest responsibly: critical thinking meets math meets personal finance.

A solar system scavenger hunt took place in the park today. Ask your child the name of Mars' two moons.

Homework:

Math: downloads above
