Did that really happen? What a show it was, yet today it felt like some distant dream. If I were not so tired from it all, I might believe that is was but a dream...

Thank you, parents, for the appreciation!

We began writing poetry today by sorting magnetic words into three categories: bumpy, smooth, and sharp/rough. Students then played around with word order to create a nonsense poem. Some students ended up with poems they really liked. 

Here's the full list that students created. There is room for disagreement.

We will finish up our study of anatomy this week that was delayed by the play. Skeletal system. 
Homework:
Math (download above)
Write: a smooth, rough, or bumpy poem on a topic of your choice. Length can vary, but please use words from the list or that fit the topic. 
Read: as always, record on your weekly planner
