| Gearing up for the Walk-a-thon. |

| Students were asked to hold a lemon in their mouths and write any and all words or feelings that came to mind. As you can see, one of those words was: Torture! |

| Sour! |

| In continuing our exploration of different forms of poetry, students were then asked to write a cinquain about lemons. |
 |
| Flower beds maybe? And why not recycle the parts. |
 |
| We reached our goal. However, after hearing how much we raised last year, I think we have a new goal. |
 |
| The store was open today, and a few students even bought a business licence to open their own stores.
Remember for Walk-a-thon:
-sack lunch
-water bottle
-comfortable walking shoes
-sun protection
-coins for ECC wishing well
-keep collecting money
-Woo hoo, walk on!
