How to view and download homework assignments

Dear Cerrito Creek community,
We hope you've had a chance to check out the planner on the bottom of this page we update with great detail about what we will be teaching each week. We think it will be especially useful when parents and students sit down to do homework together: parents can see what teachers were thinking when they planned the lesson and guide their children accordingly.

For example, tonight children will interview their parents for some writing ideas called "territories." If that sounds confusing to parents, they can scroll down to writers workshop from today at 11:00 and get the details. Furthermore, that's where you'll download assignments by just clicking on the links from that day. Homework assignments will be in bold.

Park recess is a blast. We are so fortunate to be surrounded by great parks.

Doesn't look like cultural studies, does it? Students sculpted California this afternoon to get the feel for the giant central valley, the towering Sierras, profound Death Valley, the northern volcanoes, and more. This was surely a process-oriented activity, serving as an introduction to the physical geography of the state, but the product turned out okay, too.

See homework in the planbook below.
