Homework:
For math, see the Strawberry blog or my planbook below
Write for 15 minutes (from one of your territories in your writers notebook)
Read for at least 20 minutes

One important facet of lessons is consolidating knowledge. After a lesson on how to read boring-seeming scientific texts (rev up your mind!), students did a reading on the different zones of the ocean. Afterward, they tossed a ball around the circle and noted one thing they learned. They remember and articulate something they were thinking about earlier and in doing so better remember it and even teach their peers.

Cerrito students have begun typing practice. The newly improved outdoor space has proved to be a sanctuary in the afternoons.
