Fourth grade math
Purple group: After a mental math warm-up, students took an end-of-unit assessment for our geometry unit, and pre-assessments to see how well they understand addition and subtraction of large numbers, place value, and telling time.
Fourth grade math homework:
Purple group: Cerrito students should share the strength and challenge work they chose for their portfolios last week, as well as the packet of math assessments, with their parents. Please return these papers to school as soon as possible, preferably tomorrow or Friday. No homework for Strawberry Creek students in the purple group.
Fifth graders worked more with Base-10 Blocks today to show decimal numbers and divide decimals in half. They played a game and did a worksheet to practice comparing decimals. Problems of the week are due tomorrow in addition to the worksheet that an be downloaded from Monday's blog post.
