We did a big garden clean-up first thing this morning. We can still use your help with creating a beautiful and inviting space, so please sign up with Lisa if you have an hour and like to get your hands dirty.

Our poet shared a rather morbid poem today about a bad little girl that tells lies and suffers the gruesome consequences, a la Peter and the Wolf.

We're finally getting the UNICEF money off to charity. Thanks again to all the children that trick or treated with a little orange box in hand.
The foragers tasted pickle weed in the intertidal zone yesterday. Salty, with a snappy texture, it is a delicious addition to salads.
