The Week Ahead

The Week Ahead
I hope you had a wonderful four-day weekend. I caught a 34-inch steelhead, the biggest of my life, on a little fly-fishing break from writing progress reports. This week is somewhat normal in comparison to the last few and definitely more normal than next week, when we'll dress up like 19th century hunters, militiamen, etc. and play house at a Russian fort. We'll be spending extensive time writing in our Ft. Ross journals, reading historical texts, and a lot of the parent officers will come in to get their groups oriented to their responsibilities. Look for a field trip permission slip, packing list, and costume information in a packet coming home today.

HOMEWORK:

Write one page in your Ft. Ross journal about eating at Ft. Ross. What do you eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? Are you hungry all the time?

Read for at least twenty minutes and do your connections log
