There is no homework during the Jewish high holidays, and Chanukah is upon us. That being said, if a child is in need of homework :), please do fifteen minutes of typing and read. There is even some math homework in the fifth grade packet if students are terribly eager.

| Students participated in an activity on the timeline of California history. Quick sketches and blurbs gave students a broad sense of what we will study for the rest of this year. Note the incredible amount of time between the time Native Americans arrived on the continent and the arrival of European explorers. |
