Thanks for the gorgeous peas (at least that's the family, not sure of the actual flower name), Mary!

Groups painted spokes on their wagon wheels today. We also puzzled over what material would work better for supporting the bonnets. It seems that a sturdy chicken wire might be the solution. A fun conversation between teacher and student was about how I, as the teacher, face one set of problems–which materials to buy, what I can afford, what will be user friendly–and the students face a whole different set of practical problems about how to collaborate with each other effectively, use tools properly, stay safe, etc. These projects have many dimensions and only come together through the collaborative work of many.
