Welcome Back!

The week ahead will bring geometry for fifth graders, dream houses for fourth graders, the beginning of a unit on the Mission period of California history, chemistry experimentation on mysterious white powders on maybe even a chicken liver, edge of seat writing wedded to historical fiction, and readers theater to practice reading fluency. Next week brings a trip to the Sonoma Mission and math night, both on Wednesday.

Homework:
Math: 4th graders dreamhouse, 5th graders do "Monday hw" in packet (2 pages) - download available below
CS: finish Missions reading and questions by Wednesday
Read, for crying out loud, for at least 20 minutes!

Today was the hundredth day of school, and we got up to some fun this morning with our Blackberry buddies estimating how many laps we could run or times we could touch our toes in 100 seconds.
